Neve ParitzkiJerusalem is the home of Israel's first bicycle tunnel

The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique ride and hiking experience that is to be enjoyed by everyone.
In the 42-kilometer Jerusalem Ring Path cycling route, which surrounds the capital, the Kerem Tunnel was inaugurated.

The tunnel links the paths between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. Its southern entrance is in Refaim Park, below Ein Laban, and the northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem, about half a mile from the Kerem junction.

The ceremony was also attended by Mayor Moshelion Avi Balehnikov, Gihon Water Company chairman, and thousands of cyclists.

Elkin is the project's director. project along with Jerusalem Municipality said that his ministry invests hundreds of millions in Jerusalem's tourism development and the development of innovative attractions and ventures that link the rich history of Jerusalem to its future. The Kerem Tunnel first was excavated in the 1990s to create the main sewer line of the Gihon Corporation towards Sorek.  נווה פריצקי It is now being used as an infrastructure Tunnel that includes the fifth waterline that runs to Jerusalem via the Mekorot water corporation.
